RETURN AND REFUND POLICY
At Lak’ech Studio, all our products are handmade to order and produced specifically for each customer. Therefore, our return and refund terms are set out below.
1. GENERAL INFORMATION
Products purchased through our website are placed into production after the order is received and are not stocked items.
For products that are made to order, produced according to the buyer’s specifications, or specifically personalized for the buyer, exceptions to the right of withdrawal may apply under the Distance Contracts Regulation.
2. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND RETURN CONDITIONS
For products that are handmade to order and specifically produced for the buyer, the right of withdrawal may not apply within the scope of the exceptions set forth under Article 15 of the Distance Contracts Regulation.
Accordingly, returns or refunds may not be accepted for reasons such as:
Returns for personal preference,
Not liking the product,
Change of mind.
However, the Buyer’s statutory rights regarding defective products, incorrect products, damaged products, and other rights provided under applicable consumer protection laws remain reserved.
3. DEFECTIVE, DAMAGED OR INCORRECT PRODUCTS
The following situations are exceptions to this policy:
The product is delivered broken, cracked, or damaged,
An incorrect product is sent,
The product does not correspond to the order,
The product is defective.
In such cases, the Buyer’s statutory rights under applicable legislation remain fully reserved.
What should you do in such cases?
After receiving the product, please contact us within a reasonable period and provide photographs documenting the condition of the product.

Following our review, and depending on the circumstances and applicable legislation, one of the following remedies may be provided:
Product replacement,
Refund,
Reproduction of the product.
4. REFUNDS
If a refund is approved due to a defective, incorrect, or faulty product, the refundable amount will be returned to the Buyer in accordance with applicable legislation and, where possible, through the original payment method used for the purchase.
The processing time for the refund may also depend on the relevant payment provider.
5. SHIPPING AND RETURN COSTS
For products that are defective, faulty, or incorrectly shipped, return shipping costs will be covered by the Seller where required under applicable legislation.
Where no right of withdrawal applies and the return is not due to a defect or error attributable to the Seller, return shipping costs may not be accepted or reimbursed.
6. PRE-INFORMATION AND ACCEPTANCE
By placing an order, the Buyer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted:
That the products are handmade and made to order,
That the products are not stocked items,
That statutory exceptions to the right of withdrawal may apply,
The terms and conditions regarding returns and refunds.
Nothing in this policy shall limit or waive any mandatory consumer rights granted to the Buyer under applicable law.
